Heated matress cover

If you get a heated matress cover, then I would suggest just using before you get into bed to warm things up but not to use it all night. There was some suggestion years ago that heating blankets may cause some kind of health problems because the electric currents are right near your skin for hours and hours. I don't know if that's true for sure, but I stopped using heating blanket.

So use a heated matress pad to heat up the bed before you get in, but then turn it off and use plenty of blankets to keep you warm all night.
