We went directly to the store manager. Evidently this must be an ongoing dilemma because he called it "the hammock effect"...which totally described it. We exchanged the bed for the non-pillow top bed and have added a featherbed that we got at Linen's and Things. It helps, but it's still not as good as the plush Beauty Rest we had for ten years before that.
