we've had our bodipedic about 2-3 years. its the worst mattress i've ever had. i cannot tell you how slimey the warrantee is. qvc is totally unresponsive just gives you phone number that no one ansers. (lawsuit? i'm in!!!) i'm so mad we wasted $800 for a 2 year purchase. when we first purchased it the chemical (foam) smell was unbearable but i really wanted to like this mattress so i ignored it. not to mention it was hotter than hades, waking up regularly with hot muggy sweats from foam. (anyone who tells you that memory foam mattresses aren't hot, DON'T BELIEVE THEM! they're hotter and muggier than a trip to the tropics.) again i tried to ignore this because i WANTED to love my bed. 2-3 years later, we have huge valleys in the bed it has clearly broken down and me and my husband are 5'8ish 190lbsish each. i wake up every morning with numb arms from not being able to really shift at night. it's extremely difficult to get out of bed and my back bows when i sleep in this bed because i sleep on my stomach. after 2 years there is NO support. i got suckered into beliving the 20 year warranty would cover me and got suckered into believing that qvc would care. it does not and they do not. i got so mad that one day i called up qvc when they were having a bodipedic show and i acted very happy and nice, chatted them up for a few sentences and then nicely and happily asked them what to do about the deep valleys that have formed in the mattress and that my arms go numb sleeping on it. needless to say they were completely flubbered and tried to cover their tracks. they couldn't believe that i was saying what i was saying. i just really wanted to stick it to them for misleading peole. as of today, i'm totally miserable, numb body parts when i wake up every morning and am shopping for a new mattress. i wish i could find something that works. it sucks that it's so hard to find a mattress that works and that we all have to spend thousands of dollars testing them out with these fake non warrantees. and i DO NOT think that the problems i've mentioned are exclusive of bodipedic. i think ALL memory foam mattresses are like this. they break down and do not support you after a couple of years. and they're hot hot hot. please don't fall for the hype. don't get suckered.
