Inflatable air matress

Just a word of caution to anyone who has cats. This should be obvious, but it just doesn't sink in for some of us. Air matresses and cats to not mix. Cat have claws. I've bought three inflatable matresses and all three have gotten holes poked in them. Why do I keep doing it? I don't know of any other good alternatives for a second place to sleep when I have company. But this sure isn't a good alternative.
