As far as I can tell, the Mattress Discounters stores in California are owned by completely different people than the ones on the East coast. But I'm not sure if each of the CA stores is owned by someone different, or if they're all owned by the same entity. But they are definitely different than the East coast stores, although they're all part of the same chain.
