Viscofoam mattresses are matresses made from memory foam. Made famous by the Tempur Pedic company who originally started selling them on infomercials. These matresses work great for some people, but they're not for everyone. If you plan to buy one, make sure there's a no hassle return policy so that you can return it if you find out it's not good for you. They solve back problems for some people, but cause problems for others. Unfortunately, there's no way you can tell if it will work for you by just laying on one in a store. It can take a month or more of sleeping on it to really know.
